Anestesia em pacientes do TEA , por Simone Pires

Um colega anestesiologista foi agredido por uma criança autista de 6 anos . Diante disto algumas colocações foram levantadas :

1- na Faculdade de Medicina ensina-se MUITO POUCO sobre o espectro , então NÓS médicos sabemos somente o básico durante a faculdade . A tríade do TEA ( transtorno do espectro autista ) : dificuldade de comunicação , dificuldade de socialização e movimentos estereotipados com interesses restritos .

2- nem todo profissional de saúde sabe que os TEA têm ou podem ter alterações sensoriais ( dificuldades com alguns sons , luzes , toque tátil , entre outros ). Não existe um autista igual a outro , nem todos terão dificuldades sensoriais , nem todos falarão , nem todos são ou serão agressivos.

3- NEM TODA FAMILIA sabe que se antecipar o que irá ocorrer com a criança pode diminuir a ansiedade dos fatos e evitar comportamentos disruptivos . 

4- dentro da anestesiologia , minha sugestão seria não utilização de oxido nitroso , por ação sobre MTHFR ( não sei quem esta habituado á epigenetica , e quem precisar ou quiser podemos conversar sobre ) . Envio bibliografia sobre ação do N2O +TEA .
